Annotation Growing number of hearing-impaired pupils integrated in regular schools poses high requirements on their teachers. The main research objective was to identify and analyze attitudes of future teachers and teachers in service towards the integration of children with hearing impairments into regular schools. Target groups of the research survey consisted of students – future teachers – and teachers in service of primary and lower-secondary schools from the South Moravian region. The pupils with an impairment integrated in regular schools and their parents represented an indirect target group. The research had three parts: Primarily, the attitudes of students at the Pedagogical Faculty were captured and analyzed. Secondly, the survey was extended with students of the Faculty of Science. Finally, the main research survey was aimed at an analysis of readiness and attitudes of teachers in service. The research is based on hypotheses; the research results have undergone uni- and bivariation analyses and have been visualized.
