The relation between temperament and children's drawing

Annotation The dissertation deals with the relationship between childrens' drawings and their temperament. We try to investigate how the temperament characteristics of pupils reflect in pre-defined attributes in their drawings. The theoretical part defines children's drawings and temperament in pedagogical practice. We deal in detail with children's drawings from the developmental and diagnostic perspective and point out to basic symbolism and interpretation of some of the themes of children's drawings. We define the term temperament, list various temperamental typologies and deal with a pupil's temperament in the context of the school environment. In the empirical part we characterize the survey in the form of research goals, problems, and the description of the research group. We introduce the research methods (the B-J.E.P.I. questionnaire, Bender-gestalt test, drawing of human figure) employed with the aim to find out to what extent the intensity of extroversion reflects in pre-determined attributes in drawings.
