Annotation In the scope of the task “Drug prevention”, The Children and Youth Institute carried out a research on a theatre performance called Hurvajs don´t take drugs. The main aim of this research is to find out wheter this performance fulfills its expected function and if it is therefore desirable to support the projects of this kind. More than thousand (1016) pupils at the age of 10-15 years at several schools in Prague participated in the questionnary survey. An attention was paid to their reactions to the performance and their opinions on various forms of drug prevention. It was found that the age of the audience is important and should be taken into consideration when offering such program to schools. The research report also recomends to modify theatre performances according to different age groups by means of various discussions, meeting or expert comments.
