Thinking and communication are closely linked. This article only deals with communication in teaching mathematics. Based on direct observation of activities in the classroom. A number of teachers entering the teaching practice is faced with the problem of communication in mathematics classes because they do not feel in this regard are properly prepared. This article aims to illustrate the basic communication types, their advantages and pitfalls, and show some activities suitable for the broadening and deepening of teachers to their effective use. There are also proposals contained some activities suitable to address this shortcoming in the training of teachers of mathematics. In the section titled Teacher and communication in the school are characterized and illustrated the main types of communication situations that occur in the teaching process. In the section entitled Simulation situations in the classroom are illustrated opportunities for the effective inclusion of simulations in teacher education. |
