Annotation	This research report summarises findings from various researches and inquiries carried out mostly by the Children and Youth Institute or by other subjects from the department between 1992 and 1996. The report attempts to give a general view on children’s and young people’s leisure time, its amount and ways of spending it. For example a continual research „Civic consciousness“ investigated how much leisure time young people do have (15-29), what is the content and structure of leisure-time activities. The issue of family, school, NGOs and state organisation´s participation in leisure time activities of children and youth was also examined.
