Annotation	The bachelor thesis deals with the situation when children turn the legal age and leave child institutional care. The author wishes to highlight the issue of lack of preparation for independent life outside the children's home. The first chapter highlights the legislation of institutional care, the situation in which the child is placed in institutional care, and the types of facilities for institutional care. The second chapter describes the period of adolescence and the problems associated with this. The third chapter highlights the problems that are associated with the leaving from the children's home. What young person accommodation and employment after leaving the children's home and young people who in their infancy helps if there's maybe some help from non-profit organizations. The last chapter is devoted to research, which is drawn on the basis of several interviews with clients and staff of the children's home in Broumov. Topic of discussion was the preparation for independent life outside the children's home, knowledge of programs promoting independent living accommodation possibilities and problems associated with leaving the children home.
