Annotation The content of this thesis is to determine how preschool children perceive people with physical modifications. It is more common modifications such as tattoos and piercings. The theoretical part concepts associated with body modifications and current issues related to them. In the practical part, the author follows the responses of children in kindergarten to a man who has a distinctive tattoo on large parts of its body. According to the children's answers to prepared questions and by observing their reaction to a foreign person with an unusual appearance author assessed that children do not have any modifications to conventional prejudices. Most children in the region around someone from whom these body modifications know, all children with them ever met. Of these responses indicate that the tattoo comes to children interesting because they perceive it as pictures, piercing it does not enjoy such popularity.
