Annotation In the Czech Republic there is no specific definition of premature school leaving. Complex data on drop-outs is calculated on the basis of the Labour Force Survey, carried out by the Czech Statistical Office. The work defines aspects influencing the decision whether to complete training or leave it prematurely. It also presents possible measures to reduce the incidence of dropouts from vocational education. It turns out that the Czech Republic is among the EU countries with the lowest indicator of early leaving from education. Slight annual increase in indicators of premature school leaving was manifested after the introduction of a single printed graduation exams. But because of the graduation project is just beginning, can not yet say with certainty whether it will be a permanent condition.
