Annotation	The aim of this study is to introduce the theoretical bases of free time, to try to identify and define the general concept of leisure time activities for children and young people, its historical and contemporary concepts and its specifics. The author developed a comprehensive work that proceeds from the theoretical knowledge of the concept of free time, through the development, operation, its specificity to the game and organized activities for children during the summer holidays practical part is devoted to the research, the author conducted through questionnaires, one was intended for parents and the other children. The primary objective of the research was to identify indicators influence the choice of parents regarding the use of organized activities for children during the summer holidays, where they are learning about their offer and what information is relevant to them, whether the offer is in the city and surrounding area is sufficient, or whether the selection of financial decisions family situation.
