Annotation	The aim of this work is to describe the emergence of anxiety and fear of children from birth to the younger school age. The theoretical part is devoted to explaining the concepts of anxiety and fear, and the incidence and impact of these emotions gradually during human evolution. The practical part deals with how children themselves represent the objects of which they are afraid. The research is divided into two parts - for parents was prepared questionnaire, which answered the question, what kinds of fears and anxieties to their children, faced as it is addressed and how to behave in situations that they intimidated. The second part of the research was focused on how each individual children represent the objects of which they are afraid. The chosen method was drawing.
