Czech teacher and his values

Annotation The aim of this work was to determine the currently preferred values of teachers in elementary school. In the theoretical part the author write about history of teacher’s jobs. Than she speaks about teacher’s personality, she try to describe, what it mean to be an ideal teacher. She also writes about the way, how to be a teacher – about education. At the end of the second part of theory she speaks about work condition and about burn out syndrome. The practical part presents research methods, the selected type of research and the actual research. The research survey was carried out by interviews with teachers. Interviews showed that teachers are in a problematic position. On one side of he talks about that teaching is an important profession and the need to raise quality teachers, on the other side, there are not teachers for their work adequately remunerated and complex tasks, such as. School administration are often distracted from the already difficult work requiring full concentration and preparation. From around the research showed that the value of individual teachers is not very different.
