Annotation	The aim of the work is to describe the use of physical punishment in family education and find out how are currently the forms received, evaluated and eventually used. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the issue, as it is: education, style sof parenting, educational resources and is described here the issue of punishments, which are divided into psychological and physical. The aim of practical part is to determine what educational approaches prefers today's parents, how to evaluate them and what are their opinions about corporal punishment. The partial aim is also to find out to what extent the corresponding parental approaches to educational approaches, which were themselves parents exposed to.
