Development of imagination in preschool children

Annotation In his work, the author focuses on the spatial imagination in preschool children, which falls in mathematics under the geometric area. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part characterize the notions of preschool child, spatial imagination, orientation at place and plain. The practical part presents the results of a survey whiich the author carried out in kindergarten. In accordance with previous set a criterion of score were watched the certain phenomenoms and were evaluated the certain tasks. The aim of the experiment was to determine whether the child is able to orient themselves in place, whether the child is able to assemble a picture according to a pattern what level of development of spatial imagination are the individual children located. In the results of the experiment is possible to read that discharging of tasks was mostly successful.
