Annotation	In this bachelor thesis the author deals with the leisure activities of children of school age and their involvement in the interest of education. She focuses on leisure in general and its current concept, school-age children, as well as the institutions and organizations that deal with leisure time. She describes in more details DDM Prague and its historical development. The theoretical part was processed by the scientific literature and some of the information the author also has drawn from their own resources and experience. The main part of practical part of work is a survey, which she finds the current view of children and parents to spend their free time. The aim was to confirm or refute the created hypotheses, which the author described in the introduction of this work. The results of the surfy shows that school-age children widely use the offer leisure organizations and are generally satisfied with them.
