Determination of Class Relations by Different Diagnostic Methods

Annotation The theoretical part of this document first deals with issues of social groups. Features of social groups, division of social groups, group roles with the focus on the role of a pupil, leadership in a group and a class as a small social group are defined here. Further, the issue of class climate, its defiition, structure and measurement, including distinction of terms „atmosphere“, „climate“and „environment“ are analyzed in this document. The last area of the theoretical part is devoted to the relationships in the classroom. Methods of their detection and typology of pupils with regard to their sociometric status in the classroom are stated here. The aim of the research part was the sinding whether the parallel use of two diagnostic methods with a similar focus but with different measuring instruments. The research survey showed that both questionnaires aimed to measure of the relationships in the classroom, it does so, however, by different measuring instruments and one of them is measured and class climate.
