Annotation The dissertation is oriented on the use of activity elements in the teaching of starting reading and writing in school with several classes. Dissertation consists of two parts: theoretical and practical part. In the speculative section are informations about education in school with several classes, entering of children to the school, methods of teaching reading and writing and activating elements in teaching and methods of work in the school with several classes. To the practical part the author have incorporated a research survey on the use of activating elements in the teaching of elementary reading and writing in school with several classes. For testing, she used the questionnaire method. The aim of the thesis was to outline what activating elements in the teaching of elementary reading and writing teachers use in several schools.
