Effective education of gypsy children

Annotation In the theoretical part of this thesis we can find a brief description of history of the Romani people. The theoretical part also includes legislation related to the education of gypsy pupils, specifics of their education and appropriate educational methods. Simultaneously it acquaints us with educational experience from abroad. The practical part of this thesis looks for a way to achieve higher effectivity in education of gypsy children through applicated methods and approaches. It is based on an experiment when gypsy children were coached by the author of this thesis. It compares reactions of the pupils in natural and artifical environment. The research was supported by organization Blízký souzsed, z.s. The results of this experiment revealed it does not much matter which of the approaches is used. What matters is the personality of the pupil, the approach of his family and the personality of the teacher, his ability to understand, and empathy as well.
