Annotation In this thesis is the author looking into teaching Czech language and language communication in education process at two year Special Education School. The theoretical part contains characteristics of hart of the matter of mental handicap, specifics of people with mental disabilities, ways of their education, legislative measures, consultancy services and profession advisory. This part also shows the importace of didactical principals in special education, and represents reading teaching methods for students with mental handicap. In signifiant part of the thesis she focuses on teaching Czech language and language communication at Special Education School. The aim of this thesis was to create instructional matterials and working papers for a particular subject. Partial aim of the thesis was to put the processed materials in place, and evaluate effectiveness in reality.
