Annotation This dissertation focused on upbringing in family with joint custody. The aim of the thesis is to describe the joint custody of the child and find out whether there are some differences or not. The particular aim is to specifically describe various fields of education, such as emotional education, consistency in education, role-model education and application of reward and punishment. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the description and forms of contemporary family, including a chapter focused on divorce and post-divorce child care, with a main part devoted to joint custody. In the theoretical part there is also a description of education and its individuals areas. The empirical parts consist of the methodology section and interpretation of data. The methodological part describes the qualitative approach used in realisation of research focused on answering the set out questions. The interpretation of data presents the results which were analysed from in-depth interviews.
