Annotation | Foreign research applied among teachers has shown a presence of stereotyping of pupils depending on their name, gender, ethnicity et cetera. Subsequently, this had an impact on their grade evaluation as well. This thesis elaborates on this research and focuses, in particular, on a relationship between teachers and parents in a first grade of elementary school. The theoretical part of this thesis highlights basic information about possible distortion, perception and evaluation of reality (opinions, prejudices, stereotypization,...), subsequently brings information about the school evaluation with a focus on aspects which can affect the evaluation process negatively and finally the thesis focuses on a relationship between the school (teachers) and the family (parents). Consequently, the explorative part concentrates on the object of research in particular, which is represented by three given hypotheses where each of them deals with one of the forms of parent participation. |
