Annotation Ethical Education is a project arising from a Spanish program called Prosociability Development, which has been created by Roche. The aim of Ethical Education is developing prosocial behavior in pupils and students. The dissertation thesis consists of two empirical studies. The aim of the first empirical study is to find out the effect of the implementation of Ethical Education on pupils of sixth and seventh grade of basic school (n=115) within one school year. We have chosen a quasi-experiment design with an experimental and a control group. We observed the effect of Ethical education in following variables: atmosphere and relationships in the class, self-esteem of the pupils and the extent of prosocial behavior in pupils. The aim of the second empirical study is to record and mediate the opinion of the pupils themselves about the effectiveness of the subject Ethical Education and about the teacher. Respondents (N=115) answered open questions and the answers were consequently categorized and quantified.
