Annotation | This dissertation deals with family conditions which facilitate education of gipsy children, through the analysis of project called "Home Teacher". The theoretical part is devoted to describing lifestyle of gipsy population; it means a description which includes a brief historical context and the way of life concerning the gipsy community, their relationships, traditions and customs. It also specifies differences of family conditions of the gipsy ethnic group as well as the major society. Finally, it also focuses on selected strategies leading to some improvement of educational level of gipsy children and multicultural awareness at schools. The practical section deals with the qualitative research investigation based on grounded theory approach paradigm through which family conditions are analysed, it means the conditions which may to some extent influence education of the gipsy children. |
