Education for children with autistic spectrum disorder in the context of the development of key competencies

Annotation	The dissertation thesis deals with the topic of education and enlightenment of children /students with an autistic spectrum disorder. Theoretical part of the thesis characterizes symptoms of the autistic spectrum disorder, etiology, the classification of the disorders and their complex diagnostics. Empiric part of the thesis contains two research projects. The first research project focuses on analysis of the special pedagogical intervention applied to the children with the autistic spectrum disorder at kindergartens, elementary schools and at elementary schools with emphasis on structured learning method, as the ground of the educational and enlightenment process in elementary educational institutions of Moravian-Silesian region. The aim of the second research project is to analyze the educational process, the methodology of teaching Reading, Writing and Mathematics, and the special educational interventions for students with the autistic spectrum disorder in context of the key competencies development. It also contains recommendations for the theory and practice of the special education.
