Annotation |
The dissertation thesis deals with the topic of professional orientation of pupils with mild mental retardation from a teacher’s point of view and also deals with the possibility of use of multimedia study supports to support the further educational process of these pupils. The theoretical part describes concepts and specificity of education of pupils with mild mental retardation a principles of support of professional orientation of these pupils. In this part, possibilities of multimedia supports are also discussed. The empirical part describes the methodology of the research among teachers – guidance counsellors. The research is based on a qualitative approach using interviews. The aim of the research was to determine the characteristics of professional orientation and to determine the need of a study support for professional choice of pupils with mild mental retardation. Based on the interpretation of the results, a study support was designed and provided to teachers. The study support was tested and evaluated and a number of changes for the creation of study support in this field were proposed.
