Annotation	The diploma thesis deals with punishment in schools in terms of teachers and pupils. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of basic concepts related to the actual teaching and the potential problems that go with it. An extensive chapter is devoted to how important discipline and indiscipline and means of diagnosis. There is also characterized by punishment in schools, penalties and consequences of legislative look at them. The research is devoted to the results of a questionnaire filled out three primary schools pupils 6th - 9th classes. The questioning focused on their view of the possible punishment at school and at home. The aim of the research was to find out whether they are punished, in what ways, how often, and how to look on the punishment themselves.
