School Psychologist - Endangered species? The current situation in school counseling in Czech republic

Annotation In the last ten years the Czech Republic has significantly increased the number of psychologists and specialist teachers providing advice directly to the school at primary and secondary schools, and also thanks to EU projects. However, project support is coming to an end which brings not only the need to search for permanent financing of school system resources for specialists, but also the question of who will provide methodological support, training and quality framework for school counselling. The author of this article reflects on what this situation will also submit proposals and possible solutions to this problem.
