Annotation |
The main aim of this thesis was to analyze the communication skills of a student with autism based on the analysis of video recorded during the boy's attendance at primary school for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders. The work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter focuses on issues autism. We find here three subchapters dedicated to the definition of autism and its history, the causes of origin autism and symptoms of autism, a triad of symptoms. The second chapter is devoted to the development of speech in people with autism spectrum disorders and their difficulties in communication. It also focuses on the specifics of verbal and nonverbal communication. The third chapter introduces concepts such as alternative and augmentative communication. It describes the individual communication systems requiring tools without the tools that are intended to help people with disabilities in communication to better communicate with the outside world. Practical part of this work is devoted to the analysis of the communication skills of a student with autism based on the analysis of video recorded during the boy's attendance at primary school for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders. The conclusion summarizes the progress recorded in the different fields studied and recommendations for teaching practice. |
