Annotation The aim of this diploma thesis was to find out, which problems can appear when pupils with special needs are taught by alternative mathematical method. In this thesis, it is Prof. Hejný method. The theoretical chapters are focused on characteristic of pupils with special needs and on the possibilities of their education according to different mathematical teaching methods. The practical part included my observation of the pupil during his working in mathematical lessons, which are taught according to Prof. Hejný method. The solutions are completed with an analysis of mistakes, with didactical questions, with my proposal for possible procedures leading to required aims and with a pupil´s self-reflection. After analysis of his work and after author´s observation she tried to offer an alternative solving for each problems and how to remove mistakes.
