Annotation | This thesis deals with current practices and conditions of education in primary schools in the Carlsbad region. It submits information about advantages and disadvantages of inclusive educational process in selected schools. The theoretical part focuses on the definitions of basic concepts and the development of inclusive ideas, which are based on the discussion of selected authors. This part also addresses the benefits and pitfalls of inclusive education from the perspective of teachers, pupils, and parents. It also presents a summary of current educational systems in the Czech Republic. In the research part we deal with specific advantages and disadvantages of inclusive education using examples from selected schools. We are comparing the value approach to inclusion by questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview techniques with teachers and pupils of selected schools. Emphasis is placed on acknowledging the value of diversity and putting them into practice under appropriate conditions and educational strategies, which develops quality students. |
